Made of our proprietary titanium alloy, the Evolution exhaust system represents the top of the Akrapovič exhaust system range. This is the full system, which contains the Slip-On rear muffler, link pipes with high-flow sports catalytic converters, two exquisite titanium tailpipes, and a pair of collectors. There are significant weight savings, which aid handling, and the power improvement is delivered across the rev range, which is especially noticeable in the middle rev range. The Evolution exhaust system offers a great amount of power and torque, a therefore with the weight savings it dramatically changes the power-to-weight ratio. The power increase and weight savings are beneficial on the track, where faster lap times can be achieved. All this combined with that addictive racing sound out of the shiny tailpipes. When installing Akrapovič aftermarket optional down pipes with sports catalytic converters or without catalytic converters, which are developed for use on closed tracks only, remapping the ECU is mandatory. When installing Akrapovič aftermarket exhaust system that was developed for use on closed tracks, we recommend remapping the ECU in order to prevent potential »check engine light« warning signals.
